Accessing Programs

To find programs, go to the Diamond Dynasty main menu and select the “Programs” tab. From here, you’ll see a range of reward paths you can follow.

Types of Programs

MLB The Show 26 has several different program categories:

Featured/Theme Programs

These are special, limited-time programs with unique rewards. Examples include the Cityscapes Program or Jackie Robinson Day Program. They usually have exclusive cards that aren’t available elsewhere.

Team Affinity Programs

Each MLB team has its own program path. These let you unlock rewards by playing games with or completing challenges tied to specific teams.

Cornerstone Programs

Returning in MLB 26, these are refreshed with each new Inning Program. They are a reliable way to earn mid-to-high-tier cards while progressing through the season.

XP Reward Path

These programs give passive rewards as you play games. For example, reaching certain milestones can earn high-value cards like Bobby Doerr (92 OVR).

WBC Program

Integrated into the Mini Seasons mode, this program has a tournament structure. Completing challenges in each pool gives you rewards tied to international competition.

Tracking Your Progress

A new feature in 2026 is the “My Programs” dashboard. This lets you pin and track tasks from multiple programs so you always know what objectives you’ve completed and what’s next.

For faster progress in themed programs, many players recommend completing relevant Moments outside of Diamond Dynasty first. This avoids menu lag and lets you return to grind missions efficiently within Diamond Dynasty modes.

Pro Tip: Always check the Featured Programs regularly, as some rewards are limited-time and disappear once the program ends. Prioritize tasks that give high-value cards early, so your lineup improves quickly.
